February 2024

Auerfarm is thrilled to announce the launch of its newest children’s enrichment and educational initiative – Kids Cooking Classes with Resident Chef Kristiann. Starting this March, young culinary enthusiasts will have the opportunity to delve into the world of cooking in a farm-to-table setting every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month.

Chef Kristiann will lead engaging classes designed for children aged 8-12, focusing on fundamental kitchen skills, safety protocols, and the importance of proper cleanup. These twice-weekly sessions aim to inspire the next generation of chefs while instilling a deep appreciation for where our food originates.

The classes begin Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 5:30 PM. Parents have the option of signing their children up on a class-by-class basis or can choose to sign up for all 8 classes for 10% off.

Each class will be a hands-on experience, allowing children to create delicious dishes while learning about the farm-to-table journey. Cooking in Auerfarm’s kitchen provides a unique opportunity for participants to understand the connection between agriculture and the meals they enjoy.
