The Classroom

Step into what used to be a dairy barn! What once held over 60 purebred Guernsey cows was transformed into 2 large classrooms, a lobby, a restroom area, and office space to bring more agriculture education to the Greater Hartford Community.

When not used for educational field trips, Auerfarm offers the space for families to hold birthday parties and create lasting memories while learning on the farm.

The classroom rental includes access to ONE of two identical classrooms and the restrooms in the lobby.

Both classrooms are identical as they mirror each other. This is a short list of amenities available for BOTH classrooms.

Classroom 1

Watch the video to get a better idea of the size and space! This video shows Classroom 1. Tables and chairs are free to use and decorations are encouraged to add your own touch to the space. A sink is located inside the classroom for easy handwashing and bathrooms are located through the double doors to the left.

A sink is located inside the classroom for easy handwashing and a private bathroom is located across from the main door. You may also access the main bathrooms in the lobby by crossing through classroom 1 via the divider wall.
