The new year will bring a new structure to the Auerfarm’s Enrichment Camp Program! Gift your child(ren) the joy and wonderment of environmental exploration for the new year during this holiday season!
The After-School Enrichment Camp is now offered for 3 individual days a week. Sign up for one day, select two days, or join us for all three! On Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the after-school Enrichment Camp group meets from 3:30 – 5:30 pm for children in grades (K-6) and the session will run for six continuous weeks.
Our Sprout Camp is still offered as a two day program for Pre-K children (3-5 year old) that meets mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 am on Tuesday and Thursday. Each Sprouts Camp session will also run for six continuous weeks.
We understand that many families have busy schedules and children have other after- school activities, but we also feel that time outdoors, learning and playing on the farm is a healthy and worthwhile experience. By offering individual days for this program, we hope your child can join us for educational exploration. There are so many exciting opportunities to learn on the farm.
Our Enrichment Camp Programs (After-school and morning Sprouts) are designed to challenge and engage children in an outdoor setting. The gardens, barns, trails and play forest are used as the primary classroom space for learning STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) activities. A farm-based educator works with small groups to create a social-emotional learning experience for preschool and school aged learners.
