The 4-H Education Center at Auerfarm is nestled in Bloomfield between Simsbury and West Hartford. To make your visit as smooth as possible, we’ve provided detailed directions and parking information below.

Auer Farm Road is located off of CT-185 / Simsbury Road.
The driveway to the 4-H Education Center is a half-mile-long gravel/dirt road. Please help us to maintain this road by traveling at the posted 5mph speed limit. Thank you.
Parking
For easy access to the mushroom & orchard loop and the Auerfarm State Park Scenic Reserve, please park in the parking lot to the left, about a quarter mile of the way up the gravel driveway.
The visitor’s parking lot for the 4-H Education Center is located to the left once you reach the main building area between the welcome center and the carriage barn. See the map for detailed instructions.
