Auerfarm’s Adult Education Program underscores our commitment to providing a diverse range of enriching learning opportunities for the community. For years Auerfarm has offered youth field trips, camps, and birthday parties along with family programs. Now we are excited to welcome adults to the farm for classes geared towards adults with an interest in nature, arts, and education. By seamlessly integrating elements of nature, agriculture, arts, and education, our goal is to establish a platform for personal growth and community engagement.

Join Chef Kristiann, owner of Distinctive Ideas as she holds a cooking class on October 15th at 6:00pm. In this 2 hour hands-on class, students will learn how to get ready for the holidays by preparing a menu consisting of salad of marinated vegetables and herbs, Coq Au Vin with purple sweet potato mash and ratatouille and a sugared apple and berry galette! Ticket are $85/person and are limited. Make sure to get yours before they are all gone!

Nature’s Rhythm
Reset your body and quiet your mind with a practice designed to match the changing energy of the seasons. This autumn workshop combines intentional crafting, restorative yoga and sound healing.
Together we will make herb sachets which are especially lovely because they combine plants, scent, symbolism, and intention in one very simple craft. Then we settle into the practice of conscious relaxation and deep listening. Long held restorative yoga postures, which are often supported by blocks, bolsters, and other props is paired with skilled guided meditation and the soothing sounds of sacred instruments.

Join Auerfarm and Liz Dupont-Diehl on Sunday, October 17th for Auer Biochar Workshop. This interactive workshop will teach participants the basic elements and priniciples of biochar, the benefits to using the material for planting and each participant will get to bring some home.
