Auerfarm’s Adult Education Program underscores our commitment to providing a diverse range of enriching learning opportunities for the community. For years Auerfarm has offered youth field trips, camps, and birthday parties along with family programs. Now we are excited to welcome adults to the farm for classes geared towards adults with an interest in nature, arts, and education. By seamlessly integrating elements of nature, agriculture, arts, and education, our goal is to establish a platform for personal growth and community engagement.

Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop
Slow down, get creative, and learn the art of macramé in this hands-on plant hanger workshop, taught by Kirsten of Gather on Hopmeadow. In this class, participants will learn basic macramé knots and techniques while creating a beautiful, functional plant hanger to take home.
No experience is needed—this class is perfect for beginners as well as those looking to refresh their skills. Kirsten will guide you step-by-step through the process, sharing tips along the way and encouraging creative choices so each piece feels uniquely yours.
Beyond learning a new craft, macramé is a calming, meditative practice that invites focus, patience, and creativity. Come enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment where you can create, connect, and leave with something handmade and meaningful.
