April’s volunteer of the month is Carla H. Her favorite Auerfarm animal is the chicken. Shanoi Campbell, Auerfarm Volunteer Coordinator says “Carla demonstrates a lot of leadership qualities and is very brave in everything she does.” “I volunteer because it gives me the experience with nature and animals and also allows me to see things I won’t normally see” Carla stated. When Carla was asked what she likes about Auerfarm, she said “it is a much smaller farm but she really likes the fact that she is able to interact with the staff and animals and also utilize all the resources and attractions that the farm offers.” Help Auerfarm congratulate Carla in being April’s Volunteer of the Month.
